Hello @FrancisJ ,
Welcome to our community.
For your case, here are some suggestions:
1. Check and update the Firmware of the router and clients:
1) On the router:
• Log in to your router's web interface (http://tplinkwifi.net).
• Go to Advanced > System > Firmware Update and ensure your router is running the latest firmware.
2) On the clients:
• Update the network adapter drivers and system software on your devices (PCs, phones, smart TVs, etc.).
2. Change DNS Server settings on the router:
Change the DNS Server: In the web interface, go to Advanced > Network > Internet > Advanced Settings and set the DNS servers to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8.
Alternatively, disabling the DNS server can also provide quick verification. It might be that high-bandwidth videos are failing to load due to speed limits.
3. Verify the modem can load video normally:
Connect your PC directly to your modem (bypassing the router) and check if your clients can load video normally. If not, contact your ISP.
