Deco PX50 1.3.0 firmware for US
I saw that a 1.3.0 firmware update for the EU was released for the Deco PX50 a few months ago: Deco PX50(EU)_V1_1.3.0 Build 20250721
However, it does not seem to have been released for the US region yet. The latest US firmware is 1.2.3: Deco PX50(US)_V1_1.2.3 Build 20240724
Is there any reason why this 1.3.0 firmware update is not yet available for the US region?

@madhatter13 TP-LINK (EN) website support firmware globally for all the regions included (US) so if your Deco is EU or US you can download the firmware from (EN) website and install it without any problem. They did same for Deco M4 on (US) website there is only 1.7.0 firmware but on (EN) website there is 1.8.1 firmware and i installed that firmware without any problem because the firmware is also (US) supported.

@ARGamingPK1 Thanks for the reply. I had a look, but unfortunately there were only EU versions of the firmware for the PX50 on the global EN website.

@madhatter13 They just showing (EU) on the website but in the actual (zip) file all the regions are included. So you can install firmware without any issue. Just have a try.

@ARGamingPK1 I downloaded the zip from the EN site, but unfortunately it only contained the firmware file for the EU region.

@madhatter13 Have you unzip the file? You have to install (.bin) file on your Deco and directly installing (Zip) file is not possible.

@ARGamingPK1 Yes, I did unzip the file. And it only contained a .bin file for the EU region. There was no .bin file for the US region.

Hi, there are some details for your reference:
The 1.3.0 hasn't introduced new features compared to the last 1.2.3 version. It has made corresponding optimizations and adjustments to meet EU compliance policies.
The US hardware can install the 1.3.0_EU version, and it will not be updated with the EU compliance modification. But it is NOT suggested to manually update to this version, as a similar US version will also be released in the future.

@David-TP Thanks for your response.
I was eager to get this update as the change log mentioned it contained bug fixes and security improvements. Given I have a PX50 acting as my main router, I want to ensure it has the latest security updates in particular.
I was not aware that I could install the EU firmware on US hardware. I will keep this in mind for future reference.
I will take your advice though and wait for the US firmware to be released. Do you possibly have an ETA on when this will be released?
