Hi,

 

port forwarding is not working on the X50-5G (v1.20).

 

I can ping the router from external but no connectivity on ofrwared ports. Using nmap to check the ports they show up as "filtered".

Internet provider issue can be ruled out as VPN server on the router is accable from outside.

 

I have also used APN with "IPv4" only and "IPv4&IPv6" so far.

Any other idea which settings could cause this odd behavior?

Hi, may I know your mobile service provider?

Which device do you want to open ports for?

  • Can you access this device from the local network?

Is the current IPV4 WAN IP address on the Deco App the same as the IP address here:https://whatismyipaddress.com

Thanks for your quick replay.

 

  • My provider is A1 (Austria).

 

  • Yes, I can access the devices from local network:

22/tcp   filtered ssh                   -> connected via WIFI and open from local network
1194/tcp open     openvpn      -> setup on x50-5g: open external and internal
5000/tcp filtered upnp               -> connected via LAN and open from internal 
 

  • The Deco app shows the same IP (46.x.x.73) as whatismyipaddress.com reports.

  @saittam 

Hi, if you enabled "UPNP" under NAT forwarding, will "Port 5000/tcp " show as "Open"?

As for the SSH, Deco seems to have disabled SSH remote management by default, and port 22 is reserved for the Deco APP only.
