Model: Deco X55
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.7.1 build 250806 rel 70421

My setup is as this:

1. movistar rounter as 192.168.0.1

2. connected to TP link router ER7206

3. single connection to a TP-Switch as TL-SG108S V4 as supporting the mesh protocol and with loop detection ON

4. TL-SG108S connected my Ethernet X55 Master as Backhaul

5. TL-SG108S connected my Ethernet X55 Second as Backhaul

The TL-SG108S V4 switch detects a loopback O:((

as soon I change, Second X55 reboots and restart the TP-Link switch to get out of loopback detections

5. TL-SG108S connected my Ethernet X55 Second as Wifi connection no Loopback detections!!

a) Also it looks like this, as soon the second X55 looses any Ethernet connections, the X55 boots ... and is dead for may up to a minute. This is not a immediate mesh support!

b) In addition the ER7206 switch  seams not to support Backhaul protocol.

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

Please make sure Deco X55 is set to "Access Point" mode:How to set up Deco to work in Access Point mode

It is also suggested to refer to:

General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco

Q5

In the early stage of Deco Ethernet Backhaul, there is a short network loop for 1~2s, as during this period,  both WiFi Backhaul and the Ethernet Connection are active.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards.
