Hello,

I've purchase TP-Link Deco M4 (3-pack) few months ago and since I'm having this issue.

One of my node is connected with Ethernet, mode backhaul, directly to the main node.

I don't know why, the mode backhaul regularly disconnects, and the node switches to Wi-Fi.
The issue is that the Wi-Fi signal for this node is really weak due to a thick wall in between the node and the main.

And the node will not go back to backhaul unless I reboot it.

This is really annoying.

Can any one help on how to investigate this issue please ?

  @BriceJack

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

The latest firmware for Deco M4_V2 is 1.8.1. It is suggested to update to the latest firmware first:

Deco M4_V2_1.8.1 Build 20250829

After that, please also replace a new cable to connect the satellite Deco M4 to the main Deco.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards.
