IPv6 SLAAC not working in bridged mode over wifi but works over ethernet
I bought Archer BE230 today to replace a failed Apple Airport Extreme to act as wifi access point and ethernet switch essentially. I have native ipv6 connection with fixed /56 network of which a /64 is used for this LAN in addition to NATed fixed ipv4 handled by another router which is connected to Archer's WAN port and just want Archer to act as transparently as possible so I use it in access point mode.
This mostly works fine, but I noticed ipv6 NDP multicast ff02 packets don't get bridged to wifi but do to ethernet so my wifi clients don't get ipv6 addresses assigned. I have another wifi access point (Google Nest Wifi) also working in bridged mode connected to Archer's LAN ethernet and if I connect to it, I get ipv6 address assigned correctly, but if I connect to Archer's wifi directly and monitor the traffic with Wireshark, no NDP packets get responses. Is this a known issue or is there something I can do?
