Deco S7 firmware upgrade fail
Hello,
Could someone tell me why I'm not able to update my firmware?
I'm running 1.5.2 and I'm not able to update to 1.6.1.
I have followed the instruction on the tp-link website, and tried to update through the web UI as I don't have the firmware update option in the App.
I have downloaded the 1.6.1 firmware, and when I click on update, it gives the following message - Upgrade failed. Please select the latest version of firmware to upgrade.

You might need to update from 1.5.6 to 1.6.0 first, then to 1.6.1.

@safsss Maybe your Deco S7 is provided by your ISP which is using ISP Customized Firmware.

The issue is when I try and update it I get the error messgae I posted in my original message.

@safsss Maybe your Deco has customized firmware. Can you share a screenshot?

@safsss Are you able to update 1.5.2 again from Web UI? If not it's mean there is something wrong. Are you sure your hardware region is EU ?

I just downladed and upgraded with the 1.5.2 which worked.
I then tried to upgrade with the 1.6.1 version and encountered the same error message.

@safsss I think your hardware version is V1.20 not V1 and you are trying to install V1 firmware. Kindly check it on the sticker which is down side of the Deco.
