Sunday
Model: Archer AX1500
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20250729 Rel. 73566(4555)

I am using the Archer AX 1500 as an access point. I disabled WiFi on my ISP router and am only using the AX 1500 for WiFi. I connected my PC via LAN to the AX 1500 and I get the full 250 MBit/s download speed, meaning, the connection is fine.

BUT, all my WiFi devices only get 2 MBit/s download and 15 MBit/s upload. I already tried everything:
- Firmware update

- Rebooting routers

- using only 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz WiFi

- disabling OFMA, Smart connect, AP Isolation

- set Group Key Update Period to 3600

- I am standing next to the router

- on the WiFi device it says 433 Mbit/s link speed

- I used WiFi Analyzer, but there is no problem

I had the exact same issue with my ISPs router, which is the reason I bought the Archer AX 1500 in the first place. But somehow the issue persists.

I have no idea what causes this issue. 2 MBit/s is really not acceptable!

Could you please provide the details about the Wi-Fi devices? What are they?

Wifi devices: Redmi Note 10 pro, iPad pro M5, Samsung Galaxy, HP Laptop 17-cn4770ng

I also occasionally asked guests to run a Speedtest on their mobile phones with the same result every time: 2 MBit/s Download and 15 MBit/s Upload.

What if you reset it and reconfigure it to make it work in Router mode? Will it improve the current situation?

To be honest, this is really weird. It seems the location of the wireless router affects wireless performance.

If you turn off the 2.4G on the AX1500 and only leave the 5G band, will these wireless phones, iPad, and laptop connect to the 5G with better speed?
