Hi,

I have an AZE5400 that is EasyMesh and OneMesh "ready" and an old Archer MR500 that is also OneMesh ready.

The current configeration is a Virgin Hub 5 running in Modem mode with an ethernet connection to the AZE5400 that is providing WiFi to most but not all the house. I have the Archer M500 running in router mode connected by ethernet to the AZE5400. It would be useful to have the Archer MR500 act as a sattelite to the AZE5400 but I cannot seem to find a way to do this

It may be I want the MR500 in Acess Point Mode rather than Sattelite but I am not clear on the difference

Hi, welcome to the community.

Is the "AZE5400" Archer AXE5400?

Archer MR500 doesn't support "EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul" so it can Not be used as a Mesh satellite when connected via an Ethernet cable to Archer AXE5400:

@David-TP Thank you, yes I should have said AXE5400. I bought it as both it and the MR500 that I already had were Mesh ready so I assumed I could get them working together.

I had not heard of EasyMesh until looking at the forums and settings to try get them to work together.

I am guessing you mean cannot, rather than "can"
