If data limit is reached, all WAN communication is stopped. This is fine until I need to log on to try to fix any problem and has more data available.

Please implement a functionality to reopen the WAN side so I can troubleshoot and/or accept the added cost by using more data.

This should not be just for this model, but all mobile with SMS functionality.

  @MajorNes

Hi, thank you very much for the feedback.

Is it like to remotely access the router to send an SMS to the SIM ISP when the data limit is reached? Or can you provide a specific user scenario for your request?

Have you tried setting the SMS alert for data usage?

If you received the SMS alerts, you can send an extra SMS from the mobile router to the carrier to ask for more mobile data.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

Thank you for the quick repsonse. The SMS alert is fine if I receive it early enough, and have time to respond. If not, the system is locked from the outside. I would like to be able to somhow reopen the communication. Even if i buy more data, the device will not know. If I could send an SMS to reopen I would be able to receive data from any devices behind the router and I could also adjust any data limits if needed. Now I will have to wait for the month to change. Hopefully this explains better what I would like to see improved.
