I am currently in Japan and considering purchasing the TP-Link Archer AX80V from Amazon Japan (Link: https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/Archer-AX80V-Wireless-Compatible-Manufacturers-dp-B0DDX9BQLJ/dp/B0DDX9BQLJ).

I plan to use this router back home in Cyprus (230V / EU standards), and I have three critical questions regarding compatibility:

1. Power Adapter Voltage: Does the included power adapter support a full input range (100V-240V), or is it strictly a 100V adapter designed only for Japan?

2. Firmware Language: Is the Web Interface / Firmware locked to the Japanese language, or is there an option to switch the interface to English? 3. Wireless Region: Since Japan has specific regulations for 5GHz channels, will I be able to change the region settings to Europe/Cyprus, or is the device region-locked to Japan?

I want to avoid buying a device that I cannot configure or power on safely.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello@ronname ,

We do not recommend using the device in other countries/regions after purchase.

TP-Link doesn’t provide a global warranty service and you can only get a replacement from the region where you purchase your product from.  If you are interested in purchasing a new product, please kindly check with a local shop or local online store.
If you would like to review our warranty policy, you can find it on our website here.

Your understanding would be much appreciated.

  @ronname

You can see the power adapter voltage on the adapter itself - if it's (100V-240V) the you can use it in Cyprus.

Its FW been stated as Multilanguage, but unless you have a change language drop-down menu in the its WebGUI, you can't change the language,

As for the banned wireless channels, you can't switch to Europe region, because this is hardcoded in the router FW.
