I have a new VX231v modem and a new Internet service provider (Vodafone). The Internet works perfectly. However, I have problems connecting the telephone. In the settings, under 'Telephone,' you can select the provider 'Vodafone.' There you can then enter the following data: Telephone number, Authentication ID, Password (optional). Vodafone provided me with the following information: Area code, Phone number, Voice Username, Voice Password. I have already entered the information where I think it would be correct, but it does not work. The fields in the router and the information from Vodafone do not match. What can I do here?

May I know if you got the VX231v from your ISP, Vodafone?

First, please confirm that the VoIP configuration information is accurate.

We can certainly offer some troubleshooting tips that may help: Troubleshooting Guide for VoIP Feature of DSL Modem Router

Please don't hesitate to let me know the troubleshooting steps you have taken and the results.

If you both got the modem from Vodafone, you can also check whether there are any ISP-specific settings and ask for further assistance.

Hi, Another question: how did you get the internet working? It's not working for me with Vodafone DSL 100. thanks!
