Hello, everyone!

 

I had a bit of an issue with my TP-Link Archer AX10 where the internet light stays red/orange, even though I'm still receiving internet just fine on both wired and wireless.

This issue recently popped up after we got our main ISP router replaced few days ago. My Archer AX10 is set in AP mode for use upstairs.

 

I was wondering if there's anyway to solve this rather strange issue.

Thanks for getting back to me.

 

Have you tried the wireless router mode? Will the internet light turn green?

If possible, could you try a hard reset and configure the AX10 for comparison?  Note: For insurance, it's always recommended to save a copy of the router's Backup Config file before a reset. How to create and restore from a backup file on your TP-Link Router

Welcome to our community.

 

Is there a switch between the main router and the AX10? Remove the switch for a try.

Have you set the SSID on Archer AX10 to be different from the main router's SSID?  This is why you can confirm that the client is connected to the Archer AX10, thus indicating that the AX10's network is still operational.

In addition, could you perform a hard reset on the Archer AX10 and reconfigure it?

Hi  @Joseph-TP , thanks for the reply.

1. There is no separate switch between the AX10 and the main router other than the switch in the built-in ISP router

2. I've merged the 2.4GHz SSIDs to be the same name between the main router and the AX10, but I have set separate 5GHz SSIDs
