Hi,
May I know the USB ID of your TL-WN725N V3? Is it "2357:010c"? (run the lsusb command to find it)

@woozle OK, now it can be done, even though it is not readable, it can be used with manual connect

Ok. Thanks for reporting back.
Out of interest I still checked in the source code of kernel 6.14 and it does include the ID 0bda:8179 of your TL-WN725N.
And according to Zorin's website Zorin OS 18 is based on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, so I assume its kernel should contain all the drivers, just like Ubuntu does.
Therefore, the TL-WN725N V3 should not require installing an external driver.
If you want to be sure the correct driver is loaded, then please run the command lsusb -t .
If the TL-WN725N is still plugged into the same USB port as before, then the output of lsusb -t should contain three lines similar to this:
/: Bus 004.Port 001: Dev 001, Class=root_hub, Driver=xhci_hcd/1p, 480M
|__ Port 001: Dev 002, If 0, Class=Hub, Driver=hub/4p, 480M
|__ Port 001: Dev 005, If 0, Class=Vendor Specific Class, Driver=rtl8xxxu, 480M
If it says "Driver=rtl8xxxu", then the correct driver is loaded.
