Model: Archer C50
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 1.13.30 Build 250731 Rel.58489n(494E)

I am accessing via TP link WIFI. I have configured C50 router in access point mode via LAN. My main router has 40Mbps limit. But TP link shows 18 mbps when speed tested.

When i configure C50 in Range extender mode and use WIFI, I get 40 Mbps. I checked LAN cable directly and get 40 Mbps from main router.

Hello @DK2 ,

Welcome to our community.

Please make sure parental controls or advanced features like QoS are not enabled on your host router, as these can limit speed.
Then log in to the access point web interface (http://tplinkap.net) > Advanced > Wireless Settings, and try changing the 5GHz Wi-Fi channel. Test different channels to find the best one for your environment.
Update your access point's firmware to the latest version.

QoS is not activated in Host router. checked with another router and directly connected to laptop. Host router is working as expected. In TPlink C50 also Extender mode works at 40Mbps, Access point Mode works only 18Mbps max. Access point mode is Issue. I tried all LAN and WAN port.
