Guest Ntk DHCP Issue - M9 Plus v2 - Ethernet Backhaul - Firmware 1.9.1
Hello,
I am experiencing a persistent DHCP issue on my Guest Network after updating my Deco M9 Plus v2 to firmware 1.9.1.
My Setup:
Main Deco: Deco M9 Plus v2 (Firmware 1.9.1). I want to keep this unit as Main to retain the free security features (Legacy HomeCare / Home Shield) that come with this model.
Satellites: A mix of other Deco M9 Plus units and Deco X50 units.
Connection: All units are interconnected via Ethernet Backhaul for maximum performance.
The Problem:
Devices connecting to the Guest Network cannot obtain an IP address (stuck on 'Obtaining IP address').
Troubleshooting done:
- If I disconnect the Ethernet Backhaul and use Wireless, it works. However, this is not a viable solution because my X50 units are dual-band and the lack of a dedicated backhaul significantly drops the network speed.
- The issue is clearly related to VLAN tagging over Ethernet in the 1.9.1 firmware.
Since I cannot downgrade from this version, is there a Beta firmware available for the M9 Plus v2 that fixes this Guest Network DHCP bug while maintaining the Ethernet Backhaul?
Thank you for your assistance!
