Model: RE200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 1.0.50

I have 2 RE220 connected to Archer AXE75 creating EasyMesh network in my house. Test speed when connected to any of the extenders is almost half of the speed of the main router.

Note that when testing inter net speed, I stand by the device to prevent any obstacles.

any reason for that behavior? And how to overcome this issue?

Hello @Hezqeel ,

Welcome to our community.

This is expected behavior with Wi-Fi range extenders. Range Extenders are designed to expand Wi-Fi coverage, but they do not increase your internet speed. In fact, devices connected through an extender typically experience around 50% slower speeds compared to a direct connection to the router. This reduction happens because the data must travel through two wireless hops: Device ⇄ Extender ⇄ Router.

Best Regards.
