Lan Ports stop working on TP Link XX530V AX 3000 router when I insert Airtel Patch Cord
I was enjoying TP-Link XX530V XPON as the main OLT (a Direct Patch Cord from Airtel was inserted into the XX530V Airtel Nokia Router, which was shut down). Inernet over Wi-Fi and LAN was working fine till 3 days back, but all of a sudden Airtel did some changes in their FAT due to which my TP Link XX530V got impacted as when I removed the Airtel Patch Cord from the TP Link router I was able to communicate using LAN cable and the LAN ports were working but without internet and when I inserted the Airtel patch cord again Internet over Wi-Fi started to work whereas all LAN ports stopped working. I am wondering what caused this issue and how to resolve it.

@AlokJain This issue cannot be fixed as this was caused due to some new LAN port allocations, making any TP-Link ONT with LAN ports unusuable over wired.
Only the XX530v v2 and XZ000-G3 with a 22 firmware can work. Unless we have the OLT config (which is next to impossible), this cannot be fixed.
Only option I see is, if somehow TP-Link decides to use 99% of the version 2 features of XX530v into the version 1 and release a firmware. Till then, you are good without the LAN Ports.
@Joseph-TP @Kevin_Z is there any XZ000-G3 v2 2022 firmware? This is extremely important right now for the internet to work, as any 2023 firmware makes the LAN port go offline when PON cable is plugged in.

I apologize that I'm confused about the weird behavior in AlokJain's network.
Are you saying that wireless devices can access the internet when the Airtel Patch Cord is inserted into the GPON port on the XX530v, while none of the LAN ports receive valid IP addresses?
If you unplug the Airtel Patch Cord from the GPON port on the XX530v, are the LAN ports active?
I'm even more confused by this sentence 'This issue cannot be fixed as this was caused due to some new LAN port allocations, making any TP-Link ONT with LAN ports unusuable over wired'. Could you please explain and provide more details? @IfranAli

@Kevin_Z When we use the v2 version of XX530v, all the LAN ports work normally. As soon as we use the v1 with every parameter similar to the v2, the LAN ports just doesn't work anymore, as if they are dead. It was not the case for a long time, but after some OLT changes on ISP side (ALCL), seems like most of the TP-Link ONTs (XX230v, XC220-G3/G3v, XZ000-G3 and XX530v v1) have this LAN port shutdown issue. Strange thing is that, VSOL-based ONUs and ONTs work perfectly fine, and another strange thing is, the newly provided ISP ONT is from Nokia, and whoever has the GPON SN of Nokia registered on OLT side, their setup has this issue. If you have the Zyxel variant, suddenly the issue is gone....? I don't understand the issue at all.
And yes, as soon as you take out the GPON Port, LAN ports magically work again (lol).
Wireless works regardless, only the LAN ports have this issue

@AlokJain Same issue with my XC220-G3v 2.0. As soon as I insert Airtel cable, lan port stops working (wifi still works)

I am using Nokia ONT serial. (Airtel Fiber)
Is firmware 1.8.0 on TP Link XC220-G3v have working LAN ports?

Have you talked to Airtel about this unexpected behavior?
Please also upgrade your XX530v to the latest firmware we provided in the thread below to observe if it makes a difference:

BTW, if you use the same configuration on other ONTs other than the one provided by Airtel, will the internet (including the LAN ports) work properly?

@Kevin_Z Thanks, for the suggestion. Yes, I spoke with Airtel team and they denied stating that they don't support 3rd party routers in their network, and their scanners frequently detect these routers and block them.
My TP Link Router XX530V AX 3000 is at Hardware version 1, and as per my informtion the offically released patch V8.0 is already installed.
Can you advise if the preview version can be installed, and just in case if something goes wrong how to recover to the last known good configuration.
TIA

Alok

Thanks for getting back.
As previously learned from the engineering team, the latter versions don't allow for direct downgrading to older versions via the web GUI. While this version was published publicly in April on some websites, such as the Brazil website, I assume it's safe to upgrade.

@Kevin_Z The v2 works perfectly with the ISP LAN Ports not working issue. Can the engineering team port the software features from the v2 version to v1 version, as v2 version is till not widely available? Would be great for us!
