Really silly question time! How does the KASA Kit talk / control the boiler?

Model: KE100 KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I'm looking to buy thermostats for all of my 14 Radiators. These talk to a Kasa Hub (hoping I can link in with my Tapo Smart home too)

But I don't understand how it controls the boiler.

I currently have a Firebird oil boiler - this has a Hive connection wired to it. I then have a thermostat in the Hallwall which i use to control the Hove, of Via an App.

However, if I want to switch to KASA range, I feel like the kit is missing the part that connect to the boiler?

The KE100 is a smart thermostatic valve that helps regulate room temperature by adjusting the valve’s opening ratio. It can't control the boiler.

KE100KIT is a Kasa device and can only be managed within the Kasa app. Some Tapo sensors can be linked with the KE100 to enhance your heating experience, such as the temperature & humidity sensor T310 and T315, or the contact sensor T110, which can detect whether a window is closed.
