HP Printers keeps disconnecting from Deco Mesh setup

Firmware Version: 1.4.0

Hi Team,

I have three Deco X60 set up in a mesh network, with the Deco operating mode set to Wi-Fi Router. Fast roaming is disabled, and I’ve also tried connecting via WPS as suggested in the thread below, but with no success.

This setup was working without any issues earlier. I’m not sure if a Deco firmware update caused this problem, but I’ve been facing it for the past few months and am currently forced to connect via a wired connection. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Have you also tried to disable "Beamforming" under Deco App>More>Advanced as well?

It is also recommended to refer to this link to set a preferred Deco and a preferred band/2.4GHz for the HP printer.

By the way, are the HP printers the only devices that keep disconnecting?

Deco X60-1.4.0 also support IOT Network. You can enable IOT SSID with 2.4GHz only/WPA2-security, then connect HP printers to the IOT SSID to see whether it helps improve the stability.
