hi .I need recommendation for range extenders using with Archer AX55 | AX3000  . I will use it at same floor .my internet is 1000mb/s . There are to version of RE700X  V1 and V2 . is there any hardware difference between 2 version. ı want to use same ssıd with my AX55 is it possible with RE700X ? I also confused to choose RE700X and RE705X . their transmission power are same even RE700X has internal  Antenna. does RE705X worth the price difference? last question can we use 2 RE700X or RE705X as  range extenders using same SSID ? thanks for help.

Hi,

 

In an OneMesh or EasyMesh network all routers and extenders will be using the same SSID(s).

 

The transmission power levels are calibrated at the factory. To achieve a particular transmission power (for example 16 dBm) a device with lower gain antennas may use more amplifier gain and a device with higher gain antennas may use less amplifier gain, so that in the end both device's transmission power can be the same.

 

By the way. Since you mention 1000 Mbps Internet I'd like to forewarn you that there will be no way to achieve 1000 Mbps throughput via range extenders that are connected wirelessly to an Archer AX55.
And in case you intend to connect the extenders to the AX55 via Ethernet cable, then have a look at this list https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/644776 to find out which hardware version currently supports EasyMesh Ethernet backhaul for which hardware region.

  @woozle thanks for reply.ı changed my plan.I ordered 1 more Archer ax55 .this Will be better than re700x.thanks
