Deco X10 / X1500-4g
I have a Deco X10-4g which I have purchased second hand from a person in Austria. The firmware is 1.0.5 Build 20240821 Rel. 41763 and firmware update through the app shows "no updates". However, different tp-link sites list 1.2.0 as the latest version.
I do understand that different regions may have different firmware and I couldn't find an "Austria" website. Which firmware (and from where) should I download?

Hi David, indeed this was the issue. Once I installed the 1.1.1 version, the Deco identified through the app that there is a newer version (1.2.0) and prompt me to update.
I am currently running 1.2.0 for a day (or so) without any issues.

Hi, the latest firmware for Deco X1500-4G is also 1.2.0 Build 20250719 Rel. 64158.

The bin file also works for Deco X1500-4G_V1.

Hi David, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately this didn't work. The only step I didn't follow is having to connect with an ethernet cable to my deco, as I do not currently have any device capable.
I tried several times, also after rebooting the decos but after the firmware upload I get the following error "Upgrade failed. Please select the latest version of firmware to upgrade."
Any suggestions?

Sorry, I missed one more thing.
The minimum supported firmware version for 1.2.0 is 1.1.1 Build 20241015 Rel. 76741.
So we might need to update Deco X1500-4G to an older 1.1.1 version first, then to 1.2.0 again.

Will that 1.2 version firmware work for an X10 4G in Australia ??
Our local TP Link site only lists 1.1.1

Please refer to the instructions below to check the hardware and version info on the Deco X10-4G's bottom label. For example, is it the EU, the US, or another version?

The latest firmware for the Deco X10-4G(EU) V1.0 is v1.3.0. You can download the latest firmware here and update it via the Deco's web UI.
