Hello,

I am using the TP-Link TL-PA4010 KIT powerline adapters. Every morning after resetting the powerline adapters, everything works fine. However, after a few hours, the connection drops and the adapters stop communicating with each other. When this happens, the internet does not work at all and they won’t reconnect for several hours unless I unplug and restart them multiple times.

I have tried different power sockets and restarting the devices, but the problem keeps happening.

Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Thank you

Hello @Reqq ,

Welcome to our community.

This sounds like the connection with your powerline devices is unstable. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve this:

1. Check Power Saving Mode: For wired powerline adapters like yours, check if Power Saving Mode is enabled. You can disable it using the tpPLC utility. Refer to this FAQ for detailed instructions: How to enable/disable power saving mode on powerline adapters

2. Move the powerline adapters closer together: Try moving the powerline extender closer to the router and the powerline adapter. Place them in the same room for testing.

3. Test the internet connection directly: Connect your client devices directly to the main router to determine if the issue is specific to the powerline connection or if it's a problem with the router itself.

If you've followed these steps and it doesn't help, please contact local support for further assistance.
