Hello!

 

I’ve switched from a Synology RT6600AX to an Archer BE800. I’m very happy with the power and performance of the wired network. The Synology was starting to fall a bit short with the new fiber connection I have at home.

 

My request is the following: I really miss, and you can’t imagine how much, the Wake on LAN system. Synology allowed me to turn on different devices directly from its app. I’d like to know whether this option might be available in the future in Tether and on the BE800.

Hi,

 

Nothing has been confirmed by TP-Link so far, but considering they already put in the effort to write this article, there is a chance we might get this feature at some point in the future.

Even if it's not implemented yet on an app level or in the router WebGUI, you can still use the WoL with a TP-Link router - details.
