Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: newest

Hello,

I have a Raspberry Pi running Home Assistant connected to a LAN port on my VX800v router. I can access Home Assistant without any issues either via DynDNS or via its local IP address when connected to the VX800v’s Wi-Fi network.

However, when I connect through the RE900XD (EasyMesh) Wi-Fi, I can still reach Home Assistant, but the connection is very unreliable. The frontend takes a long time to load, and I frequently experience disconnects. All other network traffic works flawlessly over the RE900XD.

Both the router and the repeater are running the latest firmware.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue?

Best,

Michael

I did some additional testing and noticed that the issue is also visible when using ping. When connected via the RE900XD, I experience significant packet loss — roughly 50% of the packets are dropped when pinging the Raspberry Pi.

Interestingly, if I disconnect the Ethernet cable and connect the Raspberry Pi to the router via Wi-Fi instead, the connection works perfectly.
