Hello everyone,

I have a newbie question. I'm considering acquiring the TP-Link Deco XE75 AXE5400 to use as a satellite for my TP-Link AXE5400 Tri-Band WiFi 6E Router (Archer AXE75).

My question is whether the Deco will replicate all the SSIDs currently set up on my router. I have "SSID1," which serves as the main network on 5GHz, "SSID2" on 2.4GHz for IoT devices, "SSID3" for guest access (with isolated nodes), and "SSID4" on 6GHz.

I need to understand if the Deco will extend all of these networks, or if it will only replicate one SSID. I'm looking to improve the signal in a distant room where coverage is lacking, and I want to ensure all networks reach that area.

Thank you for your assistance!

John.

If you have any other recommendations to achieve this, whether with another Deco, a range extender, another AXE75, or any other option, please let me know how to proceed.

Additionally, running an Ethernet cable from the AXE75 to the room where the Deco/extender/secondary router would go is not feasible.

Thank you very much!

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deco XE75 can't wirelessly connect to Archer AXE75.

An EasyMesh range extender would be a better choice, such as RE815XE

Best regards.
