I have a TP- Link XX530V v1 router / GPON.

 

I have upgraded it twice since I bought it but the version on the foot of the Web Interface remains unchanged.

 

I get no error message whatsoever when I upgrade It, but the version displayed on the web interface won't change. How can I be sure that the update really worked?

 

It shows:
Versão de firmware:0.6.0 3.0.0 v6096.0 Build 250313 Rel.6835n Versão de Hardware:XX530v v1.0 00000001

 

Even though I have upgraded to  XX530v v1 Build 250606 whic is the second latest version. And if i Try to upgrade to the latest version ( XX530v V10.8.0 3.0.0 v6096.0 Build 250902 Rel.11455n) only then I got an error message. 

 

What is wrong with my device? Shoud I ask for technical support?

Did you get this router from your internet provider, or did you purchase it from the local reseller?

 

If you get it from the internet provider, I'm not sure whether there are any limitations on a generic firmware upgrade. It's suggested to contact the provider or our local technical support.

 

If you bought it directly from the local reseller, there should be no limit on firmware updates. Please check if you can upgrade to the provided pre-release version here.
