Does the TL-WPA4220 extend my existing Wifi network via ethernet (powerlink)?
Hi,
Forgive me if the answer is obvious - but I just want to be sure I'm looking at the right product.
Can the TL-WPA4220 (or another similar model) connect to my existing (Virgin Media) router via powerlink - and then provide wifi (in the same SSID?) in another part of the house?
I already have a couple of old TL-PA4010 devices set up - to connect one device via ethernet cable. This works great.
I'm wondering if I can get one more device to plug into the wall and connect to the router via powerlink - and then provide wifi?
My flat has thick stone walls and the router is in an inconvenient corner - so "normal" wifi solutions are tricky. I already have a couple of wifi repeaters in place (provided by Virgin Media) but I think powerlink is a better way to get the (better signal) wifi to different rooms. (for devices that don't have ethernet ports)
I hope my questions make sense.
