BE230 v2 reboots frequently after update to 1.3.1 Build 20260106
Hello,
I am using TP-Link BE230 v2 at home and it was working perfectly fine before I updated it to 1.3.1 Build 20260106 rel.39388(4555) yesterday.
Now the router restarts frequently (at least 4 times for the last 12 hours, maybe even more). I lose all connection to the router wifi or ethernet, also the LED are turning off and back on again so I am sure it restarts. Also at least one time it restarted and restarted again right after that, it looked like some kind of bootloop.
I have tried to downgrade to 1.1.3 but the router gave me error while trying.
Please do something fast about it because I am trying to work here :)

When I wrote my first post I had already connected a PC to the modem and I can reach tinternet when the router is down. I have changed all the cables and the fault is still there. I have connected a ASUS router and that one is still working when thev BE230 internet goes down.
I'm at the same time having a case with my ISP and they said that the most probably case I the router.
If I check the BE230 and ISP modem then the network goes down.
Before BE firmware upgrade:
ISP modem WAN=GREEN LAN=NO LIGHT
BE = REBOOTING
after upgrade
ISP WAN=GREEN LAN = GREEN
BE= RED
In both cases the ASUS router is working.
Maybe I should connect my second BE router and see if the LAN goes down at the same time.
I bought the BE routers to be able to use the smb sharing and that is turned off right now and I want that to work as well.
Now I have 3 separate networks connected to the same ISP modem.
BE with smb enabled SW 20260330
BE without smb enabled SW 20260330
Asus
Now we will see what happens, just have to wait until the next time Internet goes down.
Sometimes it goes fast and sometimes it takes a couple of days before I get the no internet connection.
It will be quite easy to see where the problem is located.

Hey everyone,
Discovered I have the same issue now.
On BE230 v2.6 and firmware 1.3.2 Build 20260212 rel.13796(5553)
Everything has beem going perfectly fine with the router as long as I have had it, but I recently just put in a USB disk and enabled SMB, and immediately getting the same issues described.
For me, I have a MacBook Pro M4 Max that I leave in sleep mode. When I open the lid and do something on the wifi, it forces the router to reboot. If I reboot the laptop it works fine, but it seems like once I close the lid and put it to sleep, the reconnect on wake causes the issue to mess up the router.
All my other devices seem to work fine still, Nest Thermostat, Nest Cam, Switch 2, iPhone 17, PC and Nas on ethernet. So it seems to be because of the laptop coming out of sleep mode and reconnecting.

Hello @Rukes ,
Thanks for contacting our community.
It appears this fix hasn't been included in the new firmware yet. Please try the beta firmware of After Updating to 1.3.1, Archer BE230 V2 May Experience Auto Reboot When SMB Is On.

Hello @Vecna001 ,
Yes, it also belongs to the 1.3.x series. Therefore, it can be updated normally to the upcoming 1.3.3 version.
