GE800 owners left in the dark?
I have been lurking on these forums reading a lot of everyone's posts/problems for a lot of routers. It seems like every router is getting the new firmware or at least the beta with easymesh, ethernet backhaul and merging of guest/iot/mlo extension, whereas we GE800 users are still suffering with router factory resets and no form of upgrades. This is a very high-end and expensive router yet the BE series and AX series seems to be getting all of the good stuff. Currently using something else in the meantime. There hasn't even been any type of communication on the forums from the engineers, giving any sort of update which makes it that much more frustrating. What's the point of buying the top high-end routers if we are not going to be looked after?
So I guess speaking on behalf of all of us GE800 users, I politely & kindly ask the engineers for an update on when the new firmware that will give us all of these new features, that are being talked about on the forums for the other routers, be available to us? I'm pretty sure a lot of us would even be open to testing the beta out for it.

@LokiLatency Seem like TPLink have abandon any high end router like AX11000, they always keep release new product and left the high end router behind. Bcz no so much ppl afford to buy high end router. They always like to keep releasing new product or even a same product but with "V2", the recently 1.3.3 is bug fix but no feature introduce. This is how TPlink define their High End Router. Always abandon. "Gaming" Router is just a joke.

Just an update for you guys as I've been running a beta firmware to try and help the engineers fix the issue that has been plaguing this router.
* Firstly, for those of us, including myself that have been looking forward to the R3 firmware features, I was told it is going to be coming in June now. The original months I was told was April or May, but that has obviously been pushed. So just an update on that.
** issues that I've been noticing **
- custom client list names disappear after a reboot
- IOT devices on the IOT network seem to have intermittent connection after some time
- on the Tether app, a lot of the times the IP address displayed for clients will read 0.0.0.0 (random & not all)
- on the web browser specifically when clicking on the network traffic, it will display interface error multiple times and then log you out. On the app it reads operation failed and doesn't display the traffic.
This is just a quick point out of stuff that I've noticed to let you guys know what I've been testing on this router. I'm definitely working with them to try and resolve this as soon as possible so that way HOPEFULLY when the R3 firmware comes out in June, these things are at least ironed out. Let me know if you guys have noticed anything else apart from this and hopefully they read our thread so they can stay super up-to-date with anything

@CacheMode Could you tell me what features the R3 has?

@ABC_ChoCo - I wish I knew exactly what features they were going to include as part of the R3 firmware, but I have no idea as I'm still trying to help troubleshoot the current bugs with them for all of us. I'm sure the features will be everything that all the other routers are currently getting such as unification of the IOT network, guest network and possibly MLO across multiple nodes. Probably a host of other stuff too, but again I'm not sure as I have not had any beta related to these features.
