Monday
Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

I recently upgraded my Deco X50 to v 1.3.1 and here is some issues and things i would like TP Link to check properly with the App.

First of all DHCP Clients and All Clients connected , i found a issue that if the DHCP Server is starting from 192.168.0.100 to 192.168.0.254 then devices below 100 range does not show properly in Client list , they are all set to DHCP in their config but in Address Reservation they are set to the correct IP. I have semi managed switch TP Link TL-SG1016PE and itseslf does not show in Client List if i had changed my DHCP List starting from 192.168.0.100 and IP assiged via Deco App is 192.168.0.3 . I was unable to add 192.168.0.3 to the Switch automatically, i had to do workaround that set DHCP to 192.168.0.2 first and then do Address Reservation and then Deco accepted 0.3 ip . After switching back to 0.100 it no longer shows in Client List. The whole point of Address Reservation for me is for security and giving IoT Devices specific IP Ranges to keep them all

Secondly i have issue with my Wireguard Server, i have set my Wireguard Server for both Home Network and Internet but only Home Network is working on my Wireguard Client side and it does not connect to Internet. I did reset of the Wireguard Server , Config and Client config and still no success.

  @TandelK

Hi, nice to see you again.

"only Home Network is working on my Wireguard Client side and it does not connect to Internet."

-Can you repeat this issue on different WireGuard VPN clients?

-Have you even changed the MTU size on the WireGuard VPN client config file?

(It would be better to keep it as 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4)

Is "TL-SG1016PE" the only device that is automatically assigned an IP address out of the DHCP range?

Usually, it is unusual to have an IP 192.168.0.3 from Deco when the DHCP range is 0.100-0.254.

"Address Reservation" on the Deco App only allows IP addresses within the DHCP range.

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

Hi, is it similar to the following post:

Reported Issue and Workaround: Unable to Export OpenVPN Configuration File on Deco

I vaguely remember there is a Deco X10 in your Mesh system.

Best regards.

@David-TP I have other TP Link devices also that are not showing on the network , one more TP Link Archer AC1200 device which is for my FTP Server , but all this devices do not have Fix IP on their system , they are set in Address Reservation section of the router which was with workaround with first setting DHCP of the Router to start from 0.2 to 0.254 and i have set the Fix IP in Address Reservation and then i had changed back my DHCP Server to start from 0.100 . Is there any way we can assign the IP starting with LAN IP structure instead of using DHCP information as i would have 0.20 - 0.30 for my IoT Devices , 0.30-0.40 to my CCTV Camera and then for regular daily devices like Mobile i use DHCP . This is not a case with Archer it works perfectly with my Archer devices. There are random times those devices that do not have DHCP Range sometime shows up on Deco App as i had Notification enabled for them for Connect and Disconnect.

For Wireguard i tried deleting , creating new clients and also i tried modifying my MTU Size and still seems to not connect, it does the handsake and everything but Internet just doesnt work.

Here is one more feature request i want to ask if its possible with my Deco X50 at the moment .
I have local ISP running Internet to my Deco X50 and then it connects to my Switch and i have 1 Deco XE75 connected to my living room, I want to add JioAirFiber which will work as a backup connection and also TV Set up box service but from my research Jio TV Setup box only works with Jio Network. Is there any way i can make my Deco XE75 work with both the networks and only TV Box works with Jio Air Fiber network while other clients are on Local ISP ?
