Sensors suddenly not working
Sensors suddenly not working
Sunday
Model: Tapo T100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.13.0 Build 250226 Rel.140808

I have two T100's setup to turn on lights. Both have just stopped working, or at best work intermittently.

I have two smart actions setup up, one to detect motion and then the lights off and one to turn off if no motion detected for 2 mins. Everything was working fine, now nothing.

I've reset them, repaired them, reset the hub, all to no avail. I can control the lights via the app and I can also control via Amazon Alexa, but the sensors just refuse to work.

Has there been any updates recently ??

Hubs are H100's on firmware version 1.6.1 Build 250324 Rel.173226

Help please

  @Chubster

Here are some suggestions that might help:

1. Confirm whether the sensor has been triggered -- do you see any records in its event log?

2. Review your current automations to see if any rules might be conflicting.

3. Confirm whether the automation effective time is set correctly.

4. Try using another device as the action device to see if the problem persists.

Did you receive any error reports about the automation failure? You can check it in the Tapo app > the Smart tab > upper right corner, History.

Please share some screenshots of your current automation settings here.
