It is still uncertain when Deco X50-5G will be updated to support Channel Selection.
Which TP-Link device do you plan to set as a wireless repeater? Can I have the model number? Most of TP-Link don't require the Host WiFI router to work on the specific wireless channels.
And Have you run into any performance issues on certain devices with the current wireless channels on the Deco X50-5G?

Currently the 300M Wireless N RouterModel No. TL-WR841N is used as repeater. Which needs a fixed channel to work. Workaround is to deactivate the automatic restart of the X50-5G to surpress the assignment of a new channel.
2nd thing because of many other wifi in the neigborhood it is more efficient to select not common wifi channel to avoid interference.
