I'm borrowing my sisters tc70 camera that she's used for 3 years no problems and i'm unable to connect it up. I plug the camera in and no lights are flashing other than a blue light that is on the plug. With just the lead plugged in, its a solid blue light; I then plug the camera into the lead and it's now flashing blue. The camera is supposed to flash red and green but doesn't. I know this camera isn't faulty so what am i doing wrong?

Hello,

Welcome to the community, and thank you for explaining the situation so clearly.

From your description, the TC70 is powering on, but it does not appear to be entering pairing mode, which is normally indicated by the red and green flashing LEDs.

As a first step, we kindly suggest performing a factory reset on the camera and observing whether the LED behavior changes afterward, please refer to this FAQ: How to Factory Reset Your Tapo Camera: Two Methods

After a successful reset, the camera should reboot and enter pairing mode automatically, with the LED flashing red and green. If the LED status does not change after resetting and the camera still cannot enter pairing mode, we recommend contacting your local TP‑Link support team directly so they can assist you with more detailed checks and advise on the next steps: Contact Technical Support
