Just wandering if anyone else is suffering from incredibly poor sound suppression from the latest update? Surely tapo could let us decide how much suppression we want. The sound was poor before the most recent update but now it's pathetic. My other camera is a C325wb and that isn't much better. I've had these cameras around a couple of years and whilst the picture is reasonable to good, the sound is simply poor at best. We need to be able to set it ourselves. A sliding scale or similar. Please improve the sound or go back to the previous firmware's sound settings. Better still, give us choice.

This article should help with the issue on your device. Troubleshooting for better audio quality of my Tapo camera

As for the suggestion, I recommend creating a dedicated feature request post for it. This way, other users who are also interested can vote on the post and join the discussion. Our product team regularly reviews feature requests. Topics that are popular and include detailed background information, such as specific use cases, reasons for wanting (or not wanting) a feature, and related scenarios, are typically prioritized for evaluation. Feature Requests

Thanks for replying. The article is of no use. Unfortunately. I have checked the hardware. I have checked it's configuration. I have not checked the cameras placement environment as nothing has changed other than the firmware has been updated and the sound is awful now, it wasn't before. Concerning the important considerations for audio quality, all was considered over a year ago when the camera was positioned, tested and tested again. So basically I have started this to see if any other user of the same camera feels the same as I do or if it's just my camera that doesn't want to function correctly with this firmware. It will be replaced. Though I'm unsure with what camera to purchase, all things considered. Thank you.
