Model: TL-PA4010P KIT
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 2.0.2_401116_231107_901

I have 2 brand new AV600 powerline adapters which have been plugged in and paired up.    They work ok for between around 20 minutes, but they then keep losing the connection.  The connection can be down for around 10 mins before they come back on line again.

I have both adapters plugged directly into the wall socket.  I have also tried plugging them into different wall sockets in the same area.  I have turned "power saving mode" off on both adapters.  I have tried changing different "Traffic type priority".  I have tried "Internet", VOIP" and "Online Game".   I have re-seated the network cables to ensure they have a good connection.  I looked at updating the firmware, but i think they must be on the latest version.

Please advise.

Hello @IITAC ,

Here are some additional steps that may help:

1. Move the powerline adapters closer together for testing • Try placing both adapters in the same room, ideally plugged into wall sockets that are close to each other. This will help determine if the it is related to the electrical wiring distance or interference between the two locations.

2. Test the internet connection directly • Connect your client devices directly to the main router (bypassing the powerline adapters) to verify if it is specific to the powerline connection or if there's a problem with the router itself.

3. Test with different client devices • If the problem seems to be isolated to a specific device, try connecting that device to a different network. For wired connections, also try using different Ethernet cables or ports to rule out any potential problems with the cable or port.
