Hi All,

 

Recently purchased this and set up alongside my front door, however this is a wall in view on the left side ever so slightly, when opening up the app to view stream, the LED symbol shines and doesn't give a clear view of outside, I have this to always turned off in settings but is there anyway to stop this from coming on when viewing stream or events?

Watching live stream won't turn on the led if it is set to Always Off. I guess your doorbell has entered night mode, so the spotlight will be turned on. Which night mode is your doorbell set to? Is it the color mode? You can check it in the doorbell's Device Settings, go to Video & Display, then Night Mode Settings.

Thanks for replying to this issue.

I originally thought it was the LED causing bright reflection while viewing stream, however now realize it's because I have it positioned too close to my wall (inside my door frame) and the infared is causing the reflection or gleam in night mode.

 

Luckily the street is bright enough and day mode works fine at night.
