Hi all:

 

Recently. we update the Deco APP to Version 3.10.175.  We have 4 Deco Main network managed by the Deco App

But after update. 2 Deco network will show. "make sure that the main Deco works well"

It like Deco Main AP can't connect to Deco Cloud Service. So Deco APP can't manage it!

Totally we have 4 Managed network. 2 work fine . But 2 still show disconnect

 

Does any know issue about the Deco APP Verion 3.10.175

  @Solla-topee  Thanks for your reply ! We have solve this issue. The root cause is Firewall Policy setting block dns query. So Deco AP can't query DNS then connect to TPLINK Cloud service. After we add and let DNS protocol can pass Firewall Policy. the issue solved.

Hi,
Currently, no known issues have been found with the Deco App v3.10.175. For the reported phenomenon, please provide the following information for further analysis.


  1. Please describe the network diagram of the 2 Deco networks that have the error message. Do the Deco units work in the AP mode?
  2. What's the LED status on the main Deco? Do you have internet on your client devices when connecting to the Deco network?
  3. What's the hardware version of the Deco X60? If the LED on the main Deco is not solid green, try rebooting the modem and the main Deco, then check whether the Deco network appears properly in the Deco app.
