XLAT MODE
Good day. My modem recently received an update that added XLAT mode. What exactly is XLAT mode? I've researched it extensively, but haven't found anything very clear. Thank you in advance for the updated firmware and your help.

Hi,
You can adjust XLAT mode to improve compatibility with certain carrier/network behaviors, where the way the cellular side allocates addresses or establishes sessions may not line up cleanly with the router's normal forwarding/NAT behavior. Usually, we suggest leaving XLAT mode set to Auto, and the router will detect and decide whether to enable or disable the mode.
