change email address on TP link-Deco account
Hi ,
All I want to do is change my email address on my TP link0-Deco account. I have searched through the sites and cant see how to do this. Change password -no problem, but changing email ??? I would be grateful for a steer on this

I'm pretty sure you can't change the email address.
One way around it is to setup a new Deco account, then transfer ownership of your deco network to the new account.

Thanks Adam. I found a " How to change ownership " methodology but it doesnt see to work on my system - whether its because the model and firmware are outdates - not sure, I guess I will have to do what you suggest

Hi,
If you can't change the owner account by following the instructions(How to Transfer Deco Ownership in the Deco App), please provide the following information for further analysis.
1. How many Deco nodes do you have? What are the Deco nodes' firmware and hardware versions?
You can refer to the instructions to find the hardware version, and go to the Deco app > More > System to see the Deco's firmware version.
2. When changing the owner account, please ensure your phone is connected to the Deco network.
3. Please describe which step you get stuck on when following the instructions.
