I have 4 x55 units, but 1 of the unit's power adapter stopped working about 2 months ago and replaced it with a generic power adapter and it worked fine until this morning when i noticed that the LED was not powered on. After disconnecting it for 5 minutes, it powered on after reconnecting the power adapter.

 

Is there an issue with this x55 unit I should be concerned about? None of the other 3 units have any issues, just this one.

Is this a know issue? Would it still be under warranty after using a third party power adapter? 

Need help with the Deco app, setup, Ethernet backhaul, network switch or rolling back firmware? Router or AP mode? https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/699816?page=1

Hi,
We recommend using the original power adapter to power on the Deco unit. If the Deco can't be powered or the power adapter stops working, you can contact the local support team to check whether the Deco or the power adapter is under warranty.
