If the Pan & Tilt function is not working properly, follow the steps below based on your situation.
Case 1: Camera does not respond to Left/Right/Up/Down commands
    1. Make sure the camera is working properly and can be accessed smoothly in the Tapo app.
    2. Manually move the camera lens to ensure nothing is blocking its movement.
    3. Go to Camera Device Settings > Pan & Tilt, and tap “Pan & Tilt Correction” to check if the lens can move.
    4. Reboot the camera and check if the issue is resolved.

Case 2: Camera responds but moves slowly or gets stuck
    1. Use the original power adapter and cable, not an extension cord or third-party adapter.
    2. Ensure your mobile device has a stable network connection and sufficient internet speed.
    3. Confirm the camera is connected to internet properly and the network is stable.
    4. Restart the camera to refresh the system.

Case 3: Error message says "Camera Pan-Tilt has reached the maximum extent in this direction. Please drag to another direction" when it is not at the limit
    1. Ensure the screws are tight in the camera card slot and the rubber seal is seated.
    2. Go to Camera Device Settings > Pan & Tilt, and tap “Pan & Tilt Correction” to recalibrate the camera.
    3. Reboot the camera and test if it can move to its full range.
    4. If this happens occasionally, enable “Auto Reboot” in Camera Device Settings > Reboot Camera to help maintain smooth operation.
