Model: Archer BE230
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.1

My TP-Link BE230 was running 1.3.1 and the 2.4Ghz radio dropped occasionally, while the 5Ghz remained on. Only a reboot was fixing the issue. This was not due to interference, I was using the least congested channel, Smart Connect was off. Does anyone else experience this problem?

I have now update the router to the beta Archer BE230_V2_1.3.1 Build 20260317(Beta Firmware) and I will be monitoring the situation. Needless to say, I think we are all expecting a new stable firmware that would fix this issue, along with the reported earlier SMB causing reboot problems.

Hello @BobbySup ,

Currently, the reports we have received regarding 2.4 GHz disconnection issues are primarily associated with the Archer BE230-v1; there appear to be very few reports concerning the v2 version.
Could you let me know when this anomaly first began? For instance, have you made any recent changes to your settings or updated the firmware?

For 2.4 GHz, please set the channel width to 20 MHz to avoid interference.

@Joseph-TP Hello! The issue with the 2.4Ghz radio started from the very beginning, I purchased the router one month ago and it was automatically updated to firmware 1.3.1. I have now set the channel width to 20Mhz and I am testing. I will let you know if the problem persists. Thank you.
