To confirm, have you shared the camera with your wife’s account? If so, this behavior is expected. When a camera is shared with another Tapo account, the shared account can only view the live feed and does not have permission to view and download cloud video clips.
If you would like your wife to have full access to cloud recordings, she would need to log in using the same primary Tapo account, rather than a shared account.
Shared account permissions:
1. Each camera can be shared with up to 5 TP-Link accounts.
2. Shared accounts can access Live View, Talk, Voice Call, Pan/Tilt Control, and SD card playback. Note that shared account cannot stream camera live view continuously and needs to tap "continue" to resume for security reasons and cloud service resources management.
3. Shared accounts cannot change other settings or view cloud recordings.
