I've been Troubleshooting this issue since a week now, randomly Device's just get stuck in obtaining ipaddress. Sometimes even for LAN devices connected directly such as my TV just says not connected to ethernet and i have to reboot the router to fix it.

I've even clean reset the router and have the default settings and still the same issue.

At the moment i have finally given up, and made one of my AP routers the DHCP server and is working as a workaround.

But man what a pain this has been.. TP link very disappointed at this.

Bought a expensive wfi7 10k Rs router for home and i have to plug my old router to keep the current one running its just SAD.

as a network engineer Have recommended TP link to so many ppl not anymore.

Have you tried the beta firmware here:  Archer BE230 V1 May Experience Wireless Connection Instability After Updating to 1.2.5

May I know the complete topology? For example, ISP modem---Archer BE230/BE3600)))((( clients.

Note: --- Refers to wired connection,  )))((( Refers to wireless connection

 

Please provide the following information so that we can quickly identify the cause:
1. Do all the clients fail to obtain the IP properly? Or is it only certain parts of the wireless devices that are unable to connect to the network?
2. After restarting the router, will the network be able to reconnect normally?
3. Were there any changes in the settings that triggered this unexpected behavior? For example, by adding specific equipment or modifying settings, etc.

Thanks I thought I was losing it also.  It drops wireless client haphazardly and will not allow reconnect "no IP connect", almost like it permanently block the MAC but it is not on Block list.

Even with wired connection it gives same error.

Manufacturer reset twice, same issue start again.

Support via AI said to turn off Smart connect, no luck. Try changing WiFi Mode, really lol go to 801 bgn really. Check block list, no luck.

My ISP is good so TPLINK is problem.

I am returning it for an ASUS with better interface and they live about 3 years average a price to pay.

Would you provide the detailed model, hardware and firmware version of your TP-Link router? Do you have any other routers for comparison?
