Monday
Model: Archer BE900
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Configure TP-Link AP BE24000 Quad Band WiFi-7 Router in MLO mode with 2.4G/5G/6G links

Initiate a connection to MLO SSID from NXP Non-AP MLD device using "wpa_supplicant" and capture dmesg/supplicant/sniffer logs

Observations:

1) Authentication is successful

2) NXP non-AP MLD initiates connection on 6G link and adds the 5G link information as part of the STA Profile in the Multi-Link Element

3) TpLink MLO AP responds with success in the Association response for both 6G/5G links

4) EAPOL M1 is not sent out by the AP in spite of successful Association, hence 4-way handshake timesout

Questions

-------------

Can we know the cases under which mentioned WiFi 7 MLO-AP would not send out the EAPOL M1 to the non-AP MLD device even after successful Assocaition ?

May I know the hardware and firmware versions of your router?

What device did you use for the test? Are these test results based on the latest firmware update?
