TL-WPA4220 looses connection every few days
This is acontuation of my previous post.
I decided to reset the device and start again from scratch.
After resetting I can't get it to work at all.
I purchased a Mesh device (RE330), the set up was easy but didn't work more than 30 feet from the router.
So back to the WPA4220.
It's now plugged into a socket about 10 feet from the router but I can't get it to connect by pressing the pair button and then pressing the pair button on a nearby TL-PA410 device.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello @bill-lancaster ,
Thanks for contacting our community.
Here are some steps that may help you:
Please reset both devices and try pairing again
Since you've already reset the WPA4220, make sure the TL-PA410 is also reset. Press and hold the pair button on it for at least 6 seconds to reset it to factory defaults. Then, to manually pair them:
• Press the pair button on one device.
• Within 2 minutes, press the pair button on the second device.
• Wait 1–2 minutes for the Home/Powerline LED to become solid (blinking means pairing is in progress).
Please use the tpPLC Utility to pair the devices
If the button method still doesn't work, try pairing them through the tpPLC Utility: How to add a device to the network using tpPLC Utility
Please check and update the firmware on both devices
Outdated firmware can sometimes cause pairing issues. Make sure both the WPA4220 and TL-PA410 are running the latest firmware, then attempt pairing again: How to upgrade firmware of TP-Link Powerline Adapter

From elswhere on this forum I realised that the RE330 relies upon a wifi signal so would never have been a replacement for the WPA4220.
I still can't get anywhere with the WPA4220.
