Hello,

Recently I have started getting to know more about my router possibilities.

I have noticed a feature that supports VPN client on router.
When connected with manual configuration I have noticed that you have to add devices seperately to route their traffic trough VPN.

What I missed was that I want to route all clients connected to my Wifi: I.E. my guest network, or all devices at my Home wifi on 5Ghz signal etc.

I wonder if that is possible and I would appreciate such feature :)
Thanks and have a good day

Hello  @kugelis ,

Thank you very much for this insightful observation! You are absolutely right; the current router VPN client setup requires adding rules individually for each device, which is quite inconvenient for users with multiple devices.

Just to confirm my understanding: you are looking for a feature that allows all devices connected to your home Wi-Fi—whether the main network or the guest network—such as smartphones, computers, and smart home devices, to automatically access the internet via VPN without any manual configuration. Is that correct? May I ask what you primarily intend to use this feature for?

If we were to implement this feature, it could operate in one of two ways:
Option A: Wireless-only mode—this would affect only Wi-Fi devices, while gaming consoles or computers connected via Ethernet cables would maintain their high-speed direct connection.
Option B: Global network mode—this would affect the router's entire network, including both Wi-Fi and wired devices.
Based on your usage habits, which option do you prefer? Alternatively, can you envision a scenario where you might need the other option?
