Hello TP-Link Support Team,

I recently purchased the TP-Link Archer TBE400E Wi-Fi 7 PCIe adapter and physically installed it into my PC. The hardware installation is correct, and the device is firmly seated in the PCIe slot.

However, I am facing a major software issue on Windows 11:

  1. Wi-Fi is not showing up: There is no Wi-Fi option or icon in Windows anywhere.

  2. Device Manager Status: In Device Manager, the card shows up under "Other Devices" as "Network Controller" with a yellow exclamation mark. Windows cannot automatically find a driver for it.

  3. Driver Installation Failure: I downloaded the official Archer TBE400E driver from your website, but when I try to run the installer, it gives me the following error: "No compatible hardware was detected." Therefore, the official setup wizard completely blocks the installation.

  4. Manual Installation Failure: I also tried extracting the .exe file to manually force-install via the .inf file, but Windows refuses to accept it due to a hardware ID mismatch.

It seems like Windows or the official installer is not recognizing the underlying Intel BE200 chipset of the card properly.

Could you please provide me with the correct, official, or a specific beta driver package (ideally with raw .inf files) that will force Windows 11 to recognize this card?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Best regards,

Hi,

Can you please post the hardware ID of your TBE400E?

You can find it by double clicking the "Network Controller" device in the Device Manager and then selecting the "Details" tab and the Property "Hardware Ids". (example of a different Wi-Fi card below)

O kopyaladığın kodu aşağıdaki metinde belirtilen yere yapıştırıp forumda veya mailde onlara cevap olarak gönderebilirsin:

Here is the Hardware ID of the Network Controller:

PCI\VEN_14C3&DEV_7925&SUBSYS_60031A3B&REV_0

Thank you for your support, I look forward to your reply.

I checked the two newest drivers available on TP-Link's "Worldwide" website https://www.tp-link.com/en/support/download/archer-tbe400e/ and both contain an entry for the hardware ID of your Archer TBE400E. So they should work.

If you previously downloaded the driver from another local TP-Link website, then try the ones from the link above instead.

By the way, the Wi-Fi module with the hardware ID VEN_14C3&DEV_7925 is a MediaTek MT7925, not an Intel BE200.

Thank you so much! You are absolutely right. I was completely mistaken, thinking it had an Intel BE200 chipset inside, which is why the Intel drivers were constantly failing.

I downloaded the driver from the global link you provided, and the MediaTek MT7925 driver installed perfectly. The yellow exclamation mark is finally gone, and the Wi-Fi is working flawlessly now.

Appreciate your spot-on help!
