Model: Tapo C720   Tapo S200B
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.3

Can you advise whether the Tapo S200B Button can be set to turn the Tap 720 floodlights on and off? I want to use the button to act as a light switch for the flood lights on the C720.

The key here is whether the camera's spotlight can be controlled via automation. And yes, Tapo C720 does support this feature.

Thanks for your reply.

The C720 was given to me as a birthday gift from my son (who bought it from Amazon Australia).

There was no hardware version written anywhere on the box or unit.

During the Tapo App install it asked me what hardware version it is, and I entered V1.

The firmware updated automatically to the latest version successfully.

Does that mean the hardware version of the unit I have is definitely V1?
